What will you learn this week? Protecting the Kootenai River.

The glacial Kootenai River system spills from jagged peaks and glaciers along British Columbia and into Montana, through some of the wildest, most remote wilderness left in the Lower 48. It’s home to grizzlies and elk and all the other big fuzzies- but also rainbow and native westslope cutthroat trout. It is one of the last best refuges for bull trout in the United States.

Idaho Rivers United is hosting a webinar this Thursday (1/27) about the threats this unique watershed faces from development and selenium pollution. You can learn more, or sign up, over at their website.
